The Erasmus Coordinators meeting promoted by the European Commission and held in Brussels on the 24th of January 2012 is always a great opportunity for learning and networking with outstading colleagues from all around Europe.
Good contacts have been established in particular with the coordinator of the Webwise project, www.webwise.odl.org Thomas Kretschmer from the Institute of leanring innovation of the University of Erlangen-Nurmberg.
I have also discussed about potential synergies with Dr. Christoph Richther from Univeristy of Kiel, representative of the the recently funded project
Creating Knowledge through Design & Conceptual Innovation
The project aims to transform teaching in higher education, and to develop respective pedagogical models of "design as inquiry". In order to gain acceptance in academia the model of "design as inquiry" is grounded epistemologically and methodologically.
